Hello fellow Pattern Spiders,

This announcement is an update to our previous one about the Future Merger with our Sister Site: The Wayward Inn. At the end of our last announcement, we asked all of you for assistance in helping us decide on the name of our new merged community/forum/site.

After receiving large amounts of feedback from members of both forums, especially Patternspider members, and talking amongst different groups on both sites, the Staff is considering using our current sister site’s name: The Wayward Inn for the merge site’s name.

This is not a final or permanent decision but as of right now it is the only name where a majority of members can agree upon its use. Any other alternatives have brought problems or future endeavors forward, or just weren’t that popular. Thus they were dismissed. Leaving us with The Wayward Inn name as the most suggested name for the merge site.

Hello fellow Pattern Spiders,

Its been awhile since I made an announcement about updates and future changes for the site. The last one concerning the arcade system, which while enjoyable, was not too important site-wise. There are many issues that are going to be discussed and I will try to keep it as simple and to the point as possible.

IMPORTANT - Future Merger - This has been a proposed concept for some time, and with a lot of thought by the staff, we have come to the conclusion that two major changes will be coming to Pattern Spider in the near future. The first is a merger between Pattern Spider and our sister site, the Wayward Inn.

I thought it would be fun for an arcade system to be installed so you have something to do while your waiting for a post to appear or if your just bored. If you have any game requests let me know!

I have three new features for all of you!

First is post recovery - Ever had your tab/crash/close/other? Even if you hit back, once you return to the thread at question where you typing you will everything still in the box! No more lost posts, enjoy!

Next is post edit history, you can see a detailed history of the history of your own posts, storytellers can see their own and that of their players and obviously staff can see them all.

And last but not least, just as I AM allowed for instant communication for most of creation in the first age, I hope that teamspeak will do the same for you all. You do not need a mic to join in because TS3 has really nice text chatrooms, you will be able to see who is on the TS server at all times through out multiple parts of the site including the portal and the sidebar.

All the information you need inregards to teamspeak is at the top of the site under the Teamspeak tab.
