That time again for another update of Glorious Saber.

Pretty good. Not so sure about the mouths though.

Yeah, not sure about the mouths yet. I might just pull them off, but I'll give it 1-2 more strips to see if I can do something differently. I'm pretty happy with the new dialog boxes though.

The white people are extras, right? At first I thought they were in a ghost bar or something.

Yeah, I put that on the comic comments for 011 my conventions, but my comment notes don't get copied over to all the forums. My goal for extras is to show them in white and they only speak in punctuation. So, you'll see the "." "!" or "?" but not the actual questions. Mainly to point out they are not that important to the story.

Fourteen strips to finally explain the name of the comic. Some of the people commenting on it kept calling Glorious by his full name, Glorious Saber, but apparently also called Saber "that girl" which means I was less than clear on the names. This means that I wasn't as clear as I could be when it came to naming people. I thought I was being clear, but I missed things.

This is a talkie, which I'm trying to cut down on. But, this starts to show the relationship between Glorious and Saber. There are a lot of reasons they travel together and their shared name is actually one of them.

Wait, you have a character named "Glorious Saber" and also a completely different character named "Saber"?

Hrm, apparently this is causing problems. I thought it was clear, but given you are the fourth person to ask, apparently it isn't.

The blond male calls himself "Glorious" and the purple-haired female calls herself "Saber." This first strip was suppose to introduce them, as you can see in the first two frames.



Glorious is the blond Twilight who has the Intelligence of a rock and a major speech problem. He is the "warrior" of the couple and about as wise as a lemming high on cocaine.



Saber is the female with purple hair who is Intelligent, fairly wise, and is the warrior caste of Exalted. In other words, an intelligent fighter.



The entire reason the comic was called "Glorious Saber" was because they both had the name of "Glorious Saber of the Incomparable Justice" as their full Exaltedy name. Chalk it up to being unoriginal on both of their parts. However, traveling together, they couldn't use "Glorious Saber" with each other, so they just took "Glorious" and "Saber" to refer to each other. So, they both answer to "Glorious Saber" but the blond answers to "Glorious" and the female answers to "Saber".

Make a bit more sense?
